Kikuko: Good evening. Even at a time like this, I'm not sleepy at all. Last week I said that I couldn't sleep well because it was the first broadcast. This week, since it's the second one, I was able to sleep well. When I thought about why I could sleep so well, we are in the middle of spring. I get sleepy a lot during the day too.

Kikuko: The other day I went to an onsen in Izu with my mother. We didn't do anything special, but we just relaxed. We looked at the stars from an outdoor onsen.. Since I normally have a very busy life in the city, it was nice to take it easy. So you people who lead busy lives, you should relax once in a while.

Then Kikuko read some letters from listeners, about scary thoughts.

Kikuko: I like to go singing [karaoke]. It is scary if you forget songs. I sing songs at anime events, and I worry about forgetting the songs. Once when I was singing, the lyrics just disappeared from my brain, so I sang, "I forgot the lyrics.." to the melody. I was very scared at that time. I hope such things never happen again.

[going off on another tangent]
Kikuko: There are times when I think, "I'm glad nobody was watching me." Just the other day, I stuck a telephone card into the train card machine, and the door closed on me. Also when I am walking.. I fall down a lot, but that's not unusual. When I'm on my way to a studio, I want to go in a certain direction, but I ride on the train headed the opposite way. This kind of thing happens to me a lot, and I feel that I was lucky that nobody was watching me.

Then Kikuko played "Shutter Chance no Renzoku" by Iwao Junko, who Kikuko loves as much as a little sister.

Kikuko: Showers are very scary. In horror movies there are shower scenes all the time. I was thinking why it's so scary.. It's probably because when people take showers, they don't have any protection.

Then Kikuko played "Control" by Tracy Rhodes (?).

Kikuko: 30 minutes is really a short time. At first I thought I can make 10 cup ramen, or Ultraman can fight 10 times. But this 30 minutes went by surprisingly fast. How was this 30 minutes for you? I know I'm still not very good at this. I'm sorry. Please forgive me.
